Gulfstream Aerospace

Above, I present a selection of projects from my tenure at Gulfstream Aerospace. My primary role involved crafting three-dimensional representations of customers’ aircraft, incorporating their chosen materials and lighting preferences. I engaged with clients and design teams early on to capture their aesthetic vision. While the images provided are limited, it’s important to note that I produced numerous renderings during my time at Gulfstream.

The process began with discussions with clients and designers to understand their unique styles. Collaborating with these designers, I developed color palettes and materials for both physical and digital presentation. This encompassed three-dimensional renderings, virtual reality experiences, and colored prints complementing the renderings. Additionally, my responsibilities covered scene setup, customized modeling, texturing, lighting, compositing, material scanning, and color correction. For specific projects, I utilized Unreal Engine to create real-time virtual environments, though this was reserved for select clients due to its extended production timeline. Final versions were presented to clients for approval, and any requested adjustments to materials or lighting were executed through digital processes.

In addition to my core tasks, I collaborated with other teams to create proprietary configuration tools to enhance the interactive customer experience.

The software suite I utilized included Maya, Modo, Unreal Engine, Catia, Vray, After Effects, Substance Painter/Designer, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
